The top songs of all time? The best of the year? The coolest songs you have ever heard?
Who the fuck am I to make these sort of judgments?
I am nobody. What makes the songs you love are just your things. But I have authority because I went out there and got some authority. I decided I should be a guy who told people what songs were good because I just happen to like all of the best songs ever. You disagree? Great. Where’s your blog so I can remember to ignore it?
Choosing the best songs of all time or say best new songs 2011 is not something you earn or you are bestowed with. It is something you go out there and take. Or don’t. I’m just here giving my opinion on the songs that matter to me at the moment I’m writing about them. If the phrase “Best Song Ever” seems hyperbolic well that is by design, that’s why there are quotation marks(dummie).
